Genie garage door openers with screw drive units having split rails, use a collar and spring clip to join the 3-piece screw.   The parst shown are a complete collar and clip set for one 3-piece rail.

Things to Consider When Installing this Product:

Separate the rail sections, exposing one long, futed connection and one short. Slip the collar over the long extension and slide it all the way back. Reconnect the fluted conectioons of the two rails. Slide the collar over the fluted connection and install the clip next to the collar to hold it in place.
