GT912/C Canada

This Genie remote transmitter uses a 315 MHz frequency.  Genie used 315 MHz frequency in Canada up until 5 years ago when they switched to 390 MHz frequency used in the United States.  It works for Genie transmitters in Canada using 9 or 12 internal set switches.  The back of this transmitter has a white sticker with the words: MODEL/MODE'LE GT912, CANADA 2133 101 249, IC: RSS / CNR 210, THE GENIE COMPANY 

NOTE: These remotes were only sold in Canada.  If you purchased your system in the United States, this remote will not work, even though it says Canada on the back of the remote.  Instead, purchase the GT912 remote.
