GENIE REMOTE IC ACSCTG / TBSTG
- GENIE REMOTE IC ACSCTG / TBSTG
- ACSCTG Type1/GIT-1
Model TBSTG Type 1. The new models show G2T-1 on the box and Model TBSTG Type 1 on the remote. This replaces the old Model number ACSCTG Type 1 printed on the remote. The new line of Genie Intellicode remote transmitters with rolling code frequency use a dual frequency; sending both 390MHz and 315MHz frequencies at the press of a button. Program with easy-to-use "Learn Code" button on receiver, located on the motor head. Comes with programming instructions. For programming instructions on this site, visit the Support/Assistance section or scroll down this page to "Things To Consider When Installing This Product" for simple instructions. This remote transmitter takes the place of the GIC90-1 or ACSGT type garage door opener remote transmitters, no longer made. Compatible with OCDT-3 Code Dodger remotes or any OCDT type remotes. These models have an FCC ID: B8Q315390T, which replaces the FCC ID: B8QACSCT. Battery and visor clip included.
NOTE: the new remotes being sent have a dual frequency that sends out both 390 and 315MHz frequencies. These remotes show Model TBSTG Type 1. Its FCC ID is B8Q 315390T. These remotes look identical to the ACSCTG, but use a 3 volt wafer battery, model CR2032, instead of the 12 volt cylindrical battery, model MN21, used in the ACSCTG remote. Battery is included.

Things to Consider When Installing this Product:
Programming Instructions: Press the Receiver Learn Code button on the power head receiver of your Genie garage door opener. This small, black, unmarked button is located behind the light lens at the motor head and is nearest the floppy 6 inch antenna wire that protrudes from the motor head. When pressed, a radio signal indicator light will start blinking red for 30 seconds. After pressing the Learn Code Button, press your transmitter button twice for your system to grab the frequency and code it in. (Keep the transmitter you're tuning at least 2 feet away from the power head while tuning.) Press the transmitter button once more to test the system and start your door moving.
